Health and Safety at Work

The quality and safety of working conditions is becoming increasingly important, either due to legal obligations, or through the modernization of organizations and the need to improve the performance of workers. The organization and functioning of the Occupational Health and Safety Services are regulated in diplomas and there is a possibility for companies to use external services for the execution and development of these activities.

 It is in this context that Alte Safety is available to support its customers through:

  • Analysis of occupational diseases, their statistical treatment and characterization and preparation of the annual report;
  • Collection and organization of statistical elements related to health at work;
  • Identification of specific training needs on health risks and respective prevention measures appropriate to the different sectors of activity;
  • Conducting internal security audits in order to:
    • Identify and assess risks to safety and health in the workplace;
    • Assess the degree of risk control;
    • Check compliance with standards and preventive measures in the workplace.
  • Preparation of preventive and corrective measures to be implemented;
  • Analysis of accidents at work and preparation of the corresponding preventive and corrective recommendations;
  • Collection, organization and elaboration of maps of the statistical elements related to Work Safety;
  • Elaboration of a professional risk prevention program;
  • Collection, organization and maintenance of all relevant elements in a Workplace Safety perspective;
  • Provide information on rules of a legal and regulatory nature, as well as international instruments related to matters on Work Safety;
  • Collaboration in the preparation, launch and control of Safety at Work campaigns;
  • Organization of resources for prevention and protection, collective and individual;
  • Proceed, in the scope of Occupational Safety and Hygiene, to identify the training needs of workers in general and, in particular, those who perform specific functions in the fields of Safety, Hygiene and Health;
  • Organization and updating of documentation for the purposes of consultation, either internally or by the competent authorities.
  • Consultancy in the definition of technical specifications and selection of Personal Protective Equipment for purchase, whenever necessary. To this end, Alte Safety prepares the specifications for the purchase of Personal Protective Equipment and carries out the technical analysis of the proposals.
