    The ASHI\u00a0Emergency Medical Response<\/b>\u00a0training program provides a detailed and\u00a0comprehensive approach for managing out-of-hospital medical emergencies<\/b>\u00a0prior to the arrival of EMS.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    The program is designed to provide non-EMS responders more depth and exposure to standard first aid training topics to\u00a0provide richer and more advanced training<\/b>. It meets and\u00a0exceeds workplace first aid training<\/b>\u00a0requirements and satisfies the desire to learn more than just basic first aid without the burden associated with EMS provider training and certification.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    Emergency Medical Response provides\u00a0comparable training to that of Emergency Medical Responder<\/b>, the base-level training for EMS providers, although the program is not intended for training EMS providers or preparing students to be eligible for EMS provider testing and certification.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
